Longrow is a double distilled, heavily peated single malt scotch whisky, peat dried for up to 48 hours to give the whisky a unique Campbeltown smokey character.
It also retains some of Campeltown’s coastal character for added interest. This is a serious whisky that will find a narrow audience with equally serious collectors.
NOSE: Notes of sweet, barbequed pork and leather-bound books kick to this dram. There is an earthy note hinting toward the peat influence, along with notes of nectarine and menthol.
PALATE: The sweetness continues on the palate with notes of honey, butterscotch and parma violets. Hints of orange peel complement the subtle peat influence.
